On December 29, the "Forging a Strong Foundation for a Great Nation – Made-in-China 14th Five-Year Plan Achievements Exhibition", co-hosted by the National Museum of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, opened. More than 300 sets of national key projects including the Fujian Aircraft Carrier, C919 large aircraft and Fuxing EMU were selected, with the 5m-class shearing equipment developed by Fangda Group Northern Heavy Industries (NHI) among them.
The equipment was selected by the expert jury after rigorous selection by Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and review based on its advancement and representativeness, affirming NHI’s technological innovation and manufacturing strength.
As a core enterprise in China’s equipment manufacturing industry with over 70 years of experience, NHI, known as the "King of Chinese Shears", has broken foreign technological monopolies and filled the gap in China’s independent R&D of 5m-class heavy plate finishing equipment, contributing to the high-quality development of the industry.
